Andrea Partenio
Andrea Partenio works across internal operations and client advisory at Bloomberg Associates, where she oversees the organization’s global portfolio of client cities and leads its Real Estate Development practice. In her operations role as deputy chief of staff, she coordinates across multidisciplinary teams and city partners, serving as a key point of contact for client relationships and helping ensure consistent, high-quality project delivery. She also leads the Real Estate Development practice, advising cities on the transformation of underutilized assets through adaptive reuse, redevelopment, and strategic site planning. Her work centers on shaping project vision, refining conceptual design, and guiding complex development efforts from early-stage ideation through implementation.
Her experience reflects a broad, multidisciplinary approach to supporting cities, spanning areas such as internal process refinement, project management strategy, data initiatives, and climate adaptation. She has contributed to sustainability engagements, leading geospatial analyses and informing local adaptation strategies and resilience projects. Her work draws on a background that integrates design, data, and policy, and examines how the built environment can respond to evolving environmental and urban challenges.
Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan and has experience working as an architectural designer in the Pacific Northwest. She also holds a Master of Science in Urban Planning from Columbia University, with concentrations in the built environment and international planning.
