Andrea Partenio

Andrea Partenio joined Bloomberg Associates in March 2020 as a fellow with the Sustainability team. She led geospatial analysis for domestic and international projects, contributed to design recommendations for interventions in the built environment, and helped facilitate workshops between city counterparts and local stakeholders. In her current role with the Internal Management team, Andrea continues to support client cities in the areas of internal operations, project management, and data and technology.

Before joining Bloomberg Associates, Andrea spent three years as an architectural designer in Seattle. While working on domestic design projects, she spearheaded volunteer efforts with various nonprofits, including Mary’s Place, a local organization that provides safe and inclusive shelter and support for women, children and families experiencing homelessness.

Andrea earned her B.S. in Architecture from the University of Michigan, where she graduated with honors. She later earned her Masters in Urban Planning from Columbia University with concentrations in the built environment and international planning. Her research focused on sustainable design practices, urban climate resilience, and community planning.
