A city with a rich and complex history, Newark has seen a significant uptick in development and investment while advancing transformative infrastructure and justice programs. With his Newark Forward plan, Mayor Ras Baraka laid out a blueprint to ensure that growth in Newark was equitable and provided opportunity for all its residents, addressed long-standing challenges, and positioned the city as a national leader in critical policy areas.  Bloomberg Associates was brought on to help make his vision a reality, a role that became even more imperative after the COVID-19 pandemic struck only a year into our engagement.
