Nicholas Mosquera is on the Transportation team at Bloomberg Associates, bringing nearly 15 years of experience to work with clients to hone bicycle- and pedestrian-friendly improvements to roadways and public spaces, build public and political support, and to harness transportation data to achieve cities' mobility goals.
Nicholas also co-manages the Bloomberg Philanthropies Asphalt Art Initiative, which helps cities create arts-driven street redesigns that improve pedestrian safety, revitalize public space, and engage local communities.
Previously, Nicholas worked at the New York City Department of Transportation (NYCDOT) under Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan where he helped develop messaging around transformative transportation projects undertaken by the city.
Prior to that, Nicholas worked as an urban planner for the NYCDOT, after several years as a magazine writer and editor. Nick has a Master of Urban Planning from Hunter College and a B.A. in journalism from New York University.
