Robin Ried joined Bloomberg Associates in March 2014. She has more than 15 years of experience in urban planning and real estate working on projects in cities across China, India, Europe, North America and Latin America. At Bloomberg Associates, Robin leads the organization’s real estate work to help city leaders unlock unrealized value in city owned buildings, underutilized land and key privately owned sites.
Before joining Bloomberg Associates, Robin was the Head of Urban Development and a Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum. In her position, Robin conceptualized, launched, and led the organization’s urban development initiative. At HR&A Advisors, Robin advised public, private and non-profit clients on complex real estate and economic development projects in cities across the world. She also worked in the Department of City Planning for the City of San Francisco and as a Mayoral Fellow for the City of Providence, Rhode Island.
Robin received a B.A. in Urban Studies from Brown University and a Master of City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley. From 2004 to 2005, Robin served as a Fulbright Scholar to help the City of Barcelona analyze the economic and environmental impacts of a large-scale neighborhood redevelopment project.
