Lifting up all residents during challenging times.

Few countries in the world were hit harder by COVID-19 than Peru, which suffered one of the highest pandemic death rates in the world. With Peru’s economy and health systems struggling, the City wanted to double down on efforts to support some of its most vulnerable communities. Under the Mayor’s leadership, programming around critical infrastructure, public space and social services were prioritized in order to help communities and residents through one of the most difficult times in Lima’s history.
